Application of Modern Testing Technology in Geochemical Exploration

In the general survey of the 1:200 thousand water system sediment csrried out after the 1980's, the quality of elemental analysis of some elements, such as cadmium, cobalt, copper, and lanthanum, was not stable and could not meet the designed requirement. Using the large-scale analytical instruments as a means, test methods for the rare, spares and scattered rare-earth and platinum group elements have been established. The analytical data were in accord with the geochemical mapping requirements. These methods are contributory to the geological prospecting work.
