Abstract
A method for the determination of uranium content in coal gangue by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was developed. Three sample pretreatment methods were studied and discussed. The instrument conditions were also optimized. The detection limit was 0.05 μg/g, the relative standard deviation (RSD) was less than 4%, and the recovery was between 97% and 103%.
