Function Transformation of the PW 1700 Powder X-Ray Diffractometer for Texture Analysis

This paper introduces briefly the transformation of the PW 1700 Powder X-Ray Diffractometer for the texture analysis the building up of the texture analysis application software which consists of: (1) the calculation of ODF with three imcomplete pole figure,(2) the recalculation of pole figure and inverse pole figure with ODF and (3) the quantitiative analysis. An the controlling, data collection and processing, results and picture screen displaying, colored drawing and et al are accomplished automatically.
