New Design of Extended Torch for Simultaneous Determination of Nitrogen and Several Metal Elements

This paper describes a new design of the extended torch with which it is posSible to determine nitrogen and beveral metal elements simultaneously by ICP-AES. The detection limits of these metal elements aft improved to different extent. The proposed method has been applied to the determination of N, Fe, Cu and Zn in 4 Standard biological reterence materials. The results obtained were in good agreement with the certified vaines.
