Abstract

A HPLC method for the analysis of baicalin in ointment is presented. Eluted by a gradient mode from 50% A (0.02 mol/L Tris, adjusted to pH=7 with phosphoric add) and 50% B (methanol, containing 2% gladal acetic add and 0.25% sodium heptane-sulfonate) to 100% B, quanhtiative separation of baicalin with other components in the ointment is accomplished.
