A Study on Parameter Optimization of 8180 Model MCA Measuring System

The influence of parameters of 8180 model MCA measuring system on energy Spectra measure was studied. By measuring the full width at half-maximum(FWHM),the position and count of peak in the energy spectra of γ-ray with energy range from 0.66MeV to 1.33 MeV and electron beam with energy range from 0.48MeV to 1.05 MeV,a great number of data in answer to amplifier gain and shaping time were obtained. Based on these data,optimum measuring parameters of the MCA system were proposed.
