Study of the Preparation of Nano ZrO₂ Powder by DSC, TGA and XRD Techniques

DSC, TGA and XRD techniques have been used to study the influence of NH₄Cl,pH value,titration method and the amount of Y₂O₃ additive on the crystallization of nano powder.The results prove that the presence of NH₄Cl plays a dominant role on the crystallization of nano ZrO₂ powder.The other factors have no apparent influence on the crystallization. If there is no residual NH₄Cl, the crystalliation which takeS place at 445℃ is an exothermic process,on the contrary the crystallization Which takes place at 376℃ is an endothermic process.
