Analysis of Polyethoxylated Non-ionic Surfactants Triton X-100 and Tween-60 with Capillary Supercriticai Fluid Chromatography

The analysis of polyethoxlated non-ionic surfactants triton X-100 and tween-60 with capillary supercritical fluid chromatography(CSFC) is st studied carefully in this paper. The compositions and the molecular weights of two surfactants are inyestigaied with GSFC and FID detector. The results show that the largest EO number of triton X-100 is 9～10 and the molecular weight is about 600, while the molecullar weight of tween-60 is about 1500. The results obtained is close to that of the theory.
