Abstract
The voltammetric behavior of uric acid on hanging mercury electrode has been investigated in Britton-Robinson buffer solution(pH7.50).It has been found that uric acid can produce a sensitive adsorptive current at -0.08V.The adsorptive peak current is linear with uric acid concentration in the range of 2.0×10-8~1.0×10-5 mol/L,and the detection limit is 1.0×10-8 mol/L.The method can be used for determinating uric acid in human urine and plasma. The recovery is 95%~105%.
