Design and Application of an in situ FTIR System for Heterogeneous Catalytic Reaction

An in situ FTIR system which can endure hig hreaction temperature for heterogeneous catalytic reaction is desigened and set up. The reaction temperature of the systemform can be from room temperature to 1 150 K,with vacuum from 1.0×10⁵Pa to 1.0×10^-4 Pa, and the IR spectral range is 4800cm^-1 to 200cm^-1. The sample can be easily loaded. The function of the Bruker IFS 120HR FTIR spectrometer is extended and the efficiency of the measurement was also improved.
