Problems existing with the SOLA ICP-MS in routine operations was described Some improvement have recently been made with in extension of the functions associated with the equipment The results of the quality control tests showed that the precision and accuracy were satisfactory Moreover, the improvements have also enhanced operational efficiency and have reduced the determination costs.
