In Situ IR Characterizing Hydroformylation of Alkene
In situ IR spectra were used to monitor the catalysis of hydroformylation and hydrogenation of heptene to octanol in Rh-PBu3-EtOH system in which active species was formed, and the active species anchored on Al2O3 was oxidated by oxygen in air and became lessa ctive.
