Abstract
A novel method for analyzing the product of catalyzed methanol dehydration, in sequential connected GDX 101 column A, CaH2 translation reactor, TCD, GDX 101 column B, hydrogenation column, FID, was developed. H2O, CH3OH and C2H5OH, after being separated by the chromatographic column A, are changed into H2 orderly in CaH2 translation reactor, and then are detected by TCD, to not have to chemical analysis of the condensative components. The rest, CO, CH4, CO2, C2H4 and CH3OCH3, are being separated by the chromatographic column B, and CO and CO2 are translated into CH4 respectively, are finally detected with FID. The quantitative results show that the method is satisfactory with good preciseness and repeatability.
