Enantiomeric Separation of Albendazole Sulfoxide by High Performance Capillary Electrophoresis

  • The enantiomers of albendazole sulfoxide were successfully separated by high performance capillary electrophoresis using SO3-β-CD as a chiral selector. Effects of the pH of buffer, concentration of SO3-β-CD, as well as type and concentration of organic modifier on the resolution of albendazole sulfoxide enantiomers were investigated. The resolution was improved greatly by adding the 10% CH3OH.
