Determination of Lovastatin and Lovastatin Acid by High Performance Liquid Chromatography
An improved reverse phase HPLC method has been established to determine lovastatin and lovastatin acid. The C4 column and the UV detector were applied, and methanol-water(80:20) was used as the mobile phase. The experimental results show that the improved chromatographic conditions can be used to analyze the lovastatin and lovastatin acid effectively and economically.
