The Pollution and the Detection Method of Volatile Organic Compounds in Indoor Air

The release of volatile organic compounds(VOCs) from the household products and construction materials. badly influences the indoor air quality(IAQ). The source, species and treatment of these organic pollutants were reviewed in this article. The sampling and detection methods of VOCs in air were introduced. And the advantage and disadvantage of combined of thermal desorption instrument with different mechanism and gas chromatography were also expatiated.
