Identification of Huangqi and Hongqi Herbs by HPLC

  • Subject: Identification of Huangqi and Hongqi herbs. Method: High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Date were analyzed by Patten match soft from Waters company. Result: Huangqi has 26 common peaks. Hongqi has 23 common peaks. Content of formononetin is lower than calycosin in Hongqi, but Huangqi is opposition. Huangqi possesses Astragloside Ⅳ,but Hongqi has not. Conclusion: It can be a better method to identify Huangqi and Hongqi herbs.
