PyGC Research on Flame Retardant Polyethylene

  • The different Pyrolysis-gas chromatography(PyGC) functions of polyethylene (PE) and flame retardant polyethylene at 450℃、500℃、550℃、600℃、650℃ and 700℃ with the same amount of sample by both heating continuously and heating separately were analyzed and compared. The result shows that flame retardant polyethylene contained different amount of SiO2 has distinct obstraction to buring, especially when the content of SiO2 is 6% the effect is best.The result of PyGC is the same as that of CONE.
