Abstract

The different Pyrolysis-gas chromatography(PyGC) functions of polyethylene (PE) and flame retardant polyethylene at 450℃、500℃、550℃、600℃、650℃ and 700℃ with the same amount of sample by both heating continuously and heating separately were analyzed and compared. The result shows that flame retardant polyethylene contained different amount of SiO₂ has distinct obstraction to buring, especially when the content of SiO₂ is 6% the effect is best.The result of PyGC is the same as that of CONE.
