  • A HPLC method for determination of β-carotene in fortified milkpowder was reported.The sample was analyzed on a C18 column with methane: chloroform=75:25(V/V) as eluent.The content was 45.80 μg/100 g. The recovery、standard derivation、coefficient were 93.14%、1.64 and 1.76% respectively.This analysis method is simple,rapid,accurate and can be used in the quantitative determination of β-carotene.
