High-performance Liquid Chromatography Diode Array Detection Method for Basic Brilliant Orange G and Rhodamine B in Cayenne

  • Objective: to establish a HPLC method for measuring Basic brilliant orange G and Rhodamine B in cayenne. Method: using Aglient SB-C18μm stainless column with methanol -0.4 g/L ammonium acetate(70+30) measure Basic brilliant orange G and Rhodamine B,detection wavelength were 410 nm and 550 nm. Results: the detection limit were 0.58 mg/L for Basic brilliant orange G and 0.72 mg/L for Rhodamine B.The recovery were 95.1% and 94.2%.The RSD were 2.06% and 2.37%.
