Preparation and Chromatographic Evaluation of Benzylphosphonic Acid Modified Zirconia Stationary Phase

  • A zirconia-based stationary phase(BPA-Z) was prepared by modified zirconia with Benzylphosphonic acid(BPA) in room temperature soaks and then by reflux heat.The Element analysis indicated that,a good adsorption was obtained.The infrared spectrum and TG-DSC confirm that BPA adsorbed in the zirconium surface is by the Lewis acid alkali function.This prepared stationary phase has very good hydrophobic performance and ionic exchange performance.It has the application prospect for certain alkalinity material separation.
