Determination of Syringin in Chinese TraditionalMedicine Tablets by HPLC

To establish HPLC method for the determination of syringin in Mie′aoling Tablet and Huoluo Xiaotong Tablet. The samples were analyzed on a Kromasil C18 column (5 μm, 4.6 mm×250 mm ) using acetonitrile-1% aqueous acetic acid solution (10∶90,V/V) as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, 265 nm as the detection wavelength. Syringin showed good relationship at the range of 0.16~100 μg/mL(r=0.9999). The detection limit was 0.1 μg/(mL·g) at a signal-to-noise ratio of 3. The recovery of Mie′aoling Tablet and Huoluo Xiaotong Tablet was 92.2%~97.6% and 94.0%~102.6%, respectively. The results showed that the method is simple, accurate and repeatable and it is suitable for quality control of Mie′aoling Tablet and Huoluo Xiaotong Tablet.
