High Performance Liquid Chromatography for Determinationof BTPP Content in Refrigerant Oil

  • Normal-phase High Performance Liquid Chromatography Method was applied in the research of anti-scuff agent (BTPP) content in refrigerant oil determination, and established the rapid segregation test method of BTPP content. Use the amino-linkage phase analytical column, the dichloromethane:n-heptane (80∶20,V/V) binary mixture solvent as mobile phase, flow rate is 1.0 mL/min, then tests in 262 nm wavelength. The lowest detection limit is 0.0261%, correlation coefficient is above 0.9999. The percent recovery of BTPP by adding standard substance is 100±3.0%(n=4), the measurement result of relative standard deviation RSD in one day is below 2.0%(n=8), this method is rapid, accurate and good repeatability, it needn’t complicated sample pretreatment, it also has good practicability and it is less pollution.
