Simultaneous Determination of Major and Minor Componentsin Iron Ore Samples by XRF Spectrometry

An X-Ray fluorescence spectrometric method with a fusion sample preparation technique has been developed for the determination of TFe、CaO、MgO、Al₂O₃、SiO₂、P₂O₅、TiO₂、MnO、V₂O₅ in iron ore.The matrix effect was corrected by the classic α coefficient and the scattering line as an internal standard. The results are in agreement with certified values with precision of less than 10% RSD.
