Advance in Photocatalyst Based on Graphene

In this paper, the photocatalyst development based on graphene focusing on the photocatalytic H₂ evolution from water splitting is reviewed. Several successfully constructed novel and high-efficient photosensitized systems are discussed. The employment of graphene as an efficient electron acceptor and transporter, and the mechanisms of graphene in enhancing photoinduced charge separation and transfer are also presented.
